Essex vs Derbyshire – Essex won by nine runs
Grant Roelofsen made 13 for Essex before holing out via a leading edge, caught and bowled by Anuj Dal, as Essex posted 257-7 built around Tom Westley’s century.
Wayne Madsen took a sharp diving catch at short midwicket to dismiss Luc Benkenstein early in Essex’s innings, but was himself dismissed cheaply during a mini-collapse as Derbyshire fell nine runs short in their chase of 258.
Gloucestershire vs Kent – Gloucestershire won by six wickets
Graeme van Buuren went wicketless in an expensive nine-over spell, finishing with figures of 0-45, as Kent were bowled out for 208. He did not bat as Gloucestershire’s openers made light work of the chase, winning with 13.5 overs to spare.
Lancashire vs Leicestershire – Lancashire won by 21 runs
Keaton Jennings’ 135 headlined a huge Lancashire total of 383-4. Ruan de Swardt fought hard for Leicestershire, taking 2-55 before a brilliant 126 in the chase, but Hamza Shaikh’s 91 couldn’t quite get the visitors over the line as they fell 21 runs short on 362-8.
Glamorgan vs Middlesex – Middlesex won by eight wickets
Naavya Sharma (4-29) and Toby Roland-Jones (3-35) bowled out Glamorgan for a paltry 66, their worst-ever List A total against Middlesex, before Josh de Caires’ unbeaten 45 sealed victory in just 9.1 overs.
Somerset vs Warwickshire – Somerset won by 125 runs
Lewis Goldsworthy’s 103 anchored Somerset’s 337-8, before 19-year-old James Theedom took 4-54 to help bowl out Warwickshire for 212, despite a fighting half-century from Jake Lintott, sealing a comfortable win.
Northamptonshire vs Surrey – Surrey won by six wickets
Ricardo Vasconcelos fell early, leg-before to Benji Floros for just 1, as Northamptonshire recovered to post 254-8. Surrey’s Adam Thomas (83*) and Ryan Patel (64) then guided the visitors home with 41 balls to spare.
Yorkshire vs Sussex – Yorkshire won by 184 runs (DLS)
William Luxton’s 117 powered Yorkshire to 325-7, before Ben Coad’s List A-best 5-12 ripped through Sussex, who were bowled out for just 140 as Yorkshire completed a one-sided win.
Worcestershire vs Hampshire – Worcestershire won by four runs
Gareth Roderick was dimissed for 1, but Lategan’s 64 helped set up Worcestershire’s 307-8. Fateh Singh then held his nerve at the death, defending 11 runs in the final over to seal a thrilling win despite Tom Prest’s fighting 70.
