Brown, who represented Western Province at U13 level in 2025, has already been playing U14 cricket this year while attached to Constantia Waldorf School, Western Province Cricket Club and Claremont Cricket Club.
Facing adult opposition, the left-hander produced a composed century that further highlighted why he is regarded as one of the brightest young batting talents in Cape Town cricket. While many players his age are still establishing themselves in age-group cricket, Brown has continued to test himself against older opposition both at home and abroad.

The innings adds to an impressive year for the youngster, who has consistently made an impact in junior cricket and continues to attract attention with his maturity and shot-making ability.
Although there is still a long road ahead in his cricket journey, performances like this suggest Brown is a player to watch in South African cricket’s next generation.
