Kapp was the pick of the bowlers as Trent Rockets were restricted to 142-7, taking 3-12 from her four overs, removing the top three of Sophia Dunkley, Beth Mooney and Sophie Luff, to keep the total below par despite Ashleigh Gardner’s 34.
Chasing 143, London Spirit slipped to four wickets down for just 12 runs after a promising start, before Nadine de Klerk combined with Marie Kelly in a crucial 63-run stand to steady the innings.
De Klerk finished unbeaten on 41, striking the winning runs with three balls to spare to complete London Spirit’s first-ever win over Trent Rockets.
