Anrich Nortje took career-best figures of 6-56 as the Proteas dismissed Sri Lanka for only 157 on day one of the second Test at the Wanderers.
Resuming after lunch on 84-5 after Wiaan Mulder made early inroads, Sri Lanka’s woes with the bat continued as Nortje ripped through their lower order.
Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera offered some resistance with respective scores of 29 and 22.

Proteas openers Dean Elgar (19) and Aiden Markram (3) are unbeaten at the crease and will start the final session of the day with the score on 22-0.
