Durham vs Lancashire – Lancashire won by 7 wickets
Colin Ackermann’s 10 off five balls made little impact in a rain-reduced 10-over contest at Chester-le-Street.
Durham posted 128-2, but Liam Livingstone’s extraordinary 85 not out off 31 balls with eight sixes made the chase a formality as Lancashire won with five balls to spare.
Worcestershire vs Northamptonshire – Northants won by 6 wickets
Gareth Roderick gave Worcestershire the best chance of a competitive total, top-scoring with 47 off 32 balls in a patient innings that anchored the Rapids to 154-5.
James Sales dismantled the middle order with 3-34 to keep the score in check. Ricardo Vasconcelos managed only 8 off 17 balls in the chase before departing, but Justin Broad’s unbeaten 26 helped Northants ease to a sixth successive win, with David Willey’s 47 sealing the chase comfortably.
Essex vs Kent – Essex won by 3 runs
Wiaan Mulder was at his destructive best in a tense finish at Chelmsford, smashing 29 off 11 balls including two sixes to help Essex post 187-6, with Charlie Allison’s personal best 74 off 47 balls the foundation of the total.
