Captain Tom Latham struck an unbeaten 110 as New Zealand beat Bangladesh by five wickets in Christchurch on Tuesday to take an unassailable 2-0 ODI series lead.
Tamim Iqbal made 70 at the top of the order as the visitors posted a respectable 271-6 in their allotted 50 overs.
South African-born Devon Conway then smashed his way to 72 to get the Black Caps’ run chase up running, before Latham delivered the killer blows in the middle order with his fifth ODI century.
Latham’s heroics steered New Zealand home with ten balls to spare in the match.
