Wolvaardt and Lee combined for a 54-run partnership off 45 balls after Heather Graham struck with the first ball of the match, dismissing Maia Bouchier.
Lee fell for 31, skying a catch to long-on, but Wolvaardt continued to anchor the innings, eventually finishing unbeaten on 45 as Southern Brave posted 126-7.
Graham finished with 4-19, ripping through the middle and lower order, but Wolvaardt’s steady presence throughout the innings proved crucial in getting Brave to a defendable total.
Chasing 127, Welsh Fire looked in control through Georgia Voll’s 52 and Freya Kemp’s 39, reaching 80-1 before a dramatic collapse saw them lose five wickets for six runs in 13 balls.
Sophie Molineux finished with 3-14 to seal an eight-run win for Southern Brave, with Lee and Wolvaardt’s earlier partnership providing the platform that made the difference.
