Kapp top-scored for the Spirit with 17, including a four and two sixes off Maitlan Brown, but the hosts still collapsed to 80 all out.
With the ball, Kapp struck twice during the Super Giants’ chase, having Smriti Mandhana leg-before on review and bowling Grace Scrivens with a beauty first ball, finishing with figures of 2-18.
Nadine de Klerk also contributed with the bat, helping stage a mini-recovery alongside Charlie Dean to move Spirit from 48-6 to 68, before falling to Ryana MacDonald-Gay, who took 4-17 to rip through the Spirit innings.
Despite Kapp’s efforts, Super Giants eased to victory with 41 balls to spare, Paige Scholfield finishing unbeaten on 22 to complete a seven-wicket win.
