Verreynne played the key hand for Nottinghamshire as they completed a three-wicket win over Warwickshire, chasing down 282 with nine balls to spare.
After Lintott’s double strike in his opening over reduced Notts to 190-5, still needing 93, Verreynne steadied the innings alongside Joe Pocklington, sharing an 82-run stand in 86 balls to guide his side back into the contest.
Verreynne finished on 68* off 66 balls, seeing Nottinghamshire home after Byron Hatton-Lowe struck the winning boundary.
The result came despite a stunning individual effort from Warwickshire’s George Garton, whose maiden century in any format, 117 off 101 balls, and a 121-run stand with Ethan Bamber, had set Notts a stiff target of 282.
