Saiteja Mukkamalla scored a blistering 80 runs to set the tone for Super Kings, while Rilee Rossouw and Donovan Ferreira both managed just two runs apiece.

Ferreira took 1-18 with the ball, but Texas failed to prevent LA Knight Riders chasing the target down comfortably. Rovman Powell smashed 73 and Colin Munro added an unbeaten 55 as LA cruised to victory by six wickets.
