The Seattle Orcas earned another big win, this time against the Los Angeles Knight Riders. Matthew Breetzke fell early for just 2 to Jason Holder, while Cape Town-born USA international Shadley van Schalkwyk took 2-40 for LA,. Proteas seamer Ottneil Baartman chipped in with 1-38 as Seattle held on for victory.
Washington Freedom vs San Francisco Unicorns – SF won by 8 wickets
Welkom-born USA international Gous smashed 83, including four fours and seven sixes, to power Washington to 190. But Pretorius matched him blow for blow, blasting 66 off just 26 balls to lead San Francisco home with ease. Marco Jansen took 1-40 for the losing side.
