Somerset vs Warwickshire – Warwickshire won by 6 wickets
Jordan Hermann produced the standout South African innings of the day, striking 90* off 48 balls with nine fours and five sixes to top-score for Somerset and help them post 215-4.
His fifth-wicket stand with Lewis Gregory, who blazed 55 not out off 26 balls including six sixes, produced 117 from the last eight overs.
It was not enough, however, as Beau Webster’s maiden T20 century, 112 off 61 balls, and Dan Mousley’s unbeaten 71 off 36 guided Warwickshire home with two balls to spare for their first win of the campaign.

Essex vs Middlesex – Essex won by 60 runs
Wiaan Mulder contributed 10 off 7 balls batting and proved the key wicket-taker with the ball, dismissing Max Holden for 1-11 from three overs as Essex recorded a third successive win.
Luc Benkenstein and Charlie Allison shared a 133-run stand, Benkenstein making 67 off 56 and Allison 61 off 37, to set up a commanding total.
Eathan Bosch went for 43 in three wicketless overs and Leus du Plooy managed only 14 off 17 balls as Middlesex slumped to a 60-run defeat. Simon Harmer returned 0-13 from two overs.
Nottinghamshire vs Derbyshire – Notts won by 10 runs
Wayne Madsen provided the most substantial South African contribution with 27 off 22 balls for Derbyshire. George Linde made 8 off 5 batting and went for 24 in two wicketless overs.
Matthew Montgomery took 1-34 from four overs and contributed 4 off 3 balls with the bat.

Gloucestershire vs Worcestershire – Gloucestershire won by 3 runs
Duan Jansen was the difference between the sides, taking 4-37 from four overs to dismantle Worcestershire’s top order and help Gloucestershire into the top four of the Central and West Group.
Marchant de Lange contributed 2-21 from four overs as the South African pair combined for six wickets between them.
Former Gloucestershire man Gareth Roderick hit a valiant 23 off 23 balls for Worcestershire in a losing cause.
