• WP stroll to victory in Durban, FS win in Bloem

    Free State secured a comfortable win over North West in Bloemfontein and KwaZulu-Natal tasted defeat at home as Western Province strolled to a five-wicket victory in the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge.


    Free State edged a low-scoring encounter against North West thanks to brilliant and economical bowling from Johan van Dyk and Jonathan Draai, alongside veteran spinner Eddie Leie.

    KwaZulu-Natal suffered a thumping five-wicket loss at home to Western Province thanks to a century from WP’s captain Matthew Kleinveldt and a half-century from Neo Mlumbi following a five-for from Mpilo Njoloza.
