Vaibhav Sooryavanshi pushing scoring limits

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continues to rewrite expectations after another explosive century for Rajasthan Royals, with his early IPL numbers highlighting a rare level of impact.

The 15-year-old produced a 103 off 37 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad, an innings that included 12 sixes and five fours. It was his second hundred of the tournament and reinforced his ability to dominate attacks from the outset.

Across his IPL career, Sooryavanshi has faced just 274 balls but has already struck 56 sixes and 49 fours, underlining a scoring pattern built almost entirely on boundary hitting.

His approach has shifted momentum quickly in matches, often putting opposition bowlers under immediate pressure.

His two centuries also sit among the fastest in IPL history, coming off 35 and 36 balls respectively, behind only to Chris Gayle’s 30-ball record.

While Rajasthan fell short despite his latest effort, Sooryavanshi’s output remains one of the standout features of the season. At just 15, his ability to clear the boundary consistently and score at pace has made him one of the most influential batters in IPL 2026.
