Mignon du Preez’s debut Test century was not enough to save South Africa’s women from following on, on day three of their Test against India.

The India women bowlers had the visitors on 83-6 at the close, after the South Africa women had been asked to follow on after they could only muster a total of 233 in the first innings.

India started day three on top as Gayakwad (4-53) and Kaur (5-44) ran through the visitors’ line up with only Du Preez (102) and Chetty (55) offering any sort of resistance for South Africa.

After being bowled out in 110 overs, South Africa once again got off to a poor start as Goswami (2-19) removed both of the openers with 26 on the board.

Meanwhile, Glamorgan have confirmed that Jacques Rudolph has extended his contract with the English County until the end of 2017. Rudolph was named ‘List A’ Player of the Year at the end-of-season Awards Evening and will be one of the key senior players around which Glamorgan will build their future.
