The Proteas will bat first in the second ODI against Pakistan on Sunday, while both teams remain unchanged for the Pink Day clash at the Wanderers.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam once again won the toss and elected to field first with some cloud around in Johannesburg.
The visitors sealed a three-wicket victory in Friday’s opening encounter, which went down to the very last delivery of the match in Centurion.
The Proteas will thus need to win Sunday’s ODI to keep the three-match series alive. All IPL-contracted players will depart for India after the game.
