George Linde scored a century on his home debut for Kent against a Sri Lanka Development XI at the St Lawrence Ground on Friday.
Linde’s 107 came off 133 balls and included 10 fours and two sixes.
He was part of a fifth-wicket stand of 265 with Darren Stevens (168 off 142 balls) as Kent recovered from 95-4 to finish day one of the match on 418-6.
“I’m really pleased to score a century in my first match for Kent in Canterbury,” Linde said. “Hopefully it’s the first of many.”
