• Klusener still in limbo

Lance Klusener is still searching for his next coaching job almost three weeks after the Dolphins decided not to renew his contract.

The former Proteas all-rounder was unceremoniously relieved of his duties last month despite his contract only finishing at the end of the season with the conclusion of the Sunfoil Series.

Yashin Ebrahim and Roger Telemachus took over the coaching duties with immediate effect for the remainder of the season as Klusener was left ‘shocked’ at the decision.

‘I’m available and fishing around,’ Klusener told SACricketmag.com. ‘I am happy to go anywhere, even overseas, but if possible I would like to stay in South Africa. Whether there’s opportunities for me here, I don’t know.’
