Andries Gous scored a sensational 96 off just 54 balls, with four fours and eight sixes, as Washington Freedom stormed to a five-wicket win over MI New York on Sunday. It was a tougher day for Quinton de Kock, who fell for just two off Saurabh Netravalkar.
Texas Super Kings vs LA Knight Riders – LA won by six wickets
Texas’s South African contingent did what they could, but it was not enough to prevent a six-wicket win for LA in Dallas. Faf du Plessis (23), Rilee Rossouw (24) and Donovan Ferreira (19) helped Texas to 171, but a quickfire chase led by Colin Munro (62) and Matthew Tromp (58) saw LA home with balls to spare.
