Bird off to solid start on day of four debuts

KwaZulu-Natal Coastal and Western Province both blooded two first-class debutants, with SA Schools star Jonathan Bird scoring 42 of his side’s first 65 runs in his first-class cricket debut during the first day of CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup action.
