Nottinghamshire vs Durham – Nottinghamshire won by two runs
George Linde struck 21 as Nottinghamshire posted 166-8 at Chester-le-Street, then returned to take 2-19, removing Graham Clark and Ben McKinney. David Bedingham’s unbeaten 26 could not prevent Durham falling two runs short on 164-6.
Warwickshire vs Gloucestershire – Warwickshire won by 30 runs
Marchant de Lange took 1-29 as Gloucestershire chased 203. Usman Tariq ran through the visitors’ order with 3-12, and a late 14* from Graeme van Buuren was not enough to prevent Gloucestershire falling 30 runs short on 173-6.
Worcestershire vs Glamorgan – Worcestershire won by 15 runs
Gareth Roderick blazed 71 off 43 balls, with eight fours and two sixes, as Worcestershire posted 161-9. Beyers Swanepoel chipped in with 11 runs before taking 3-36 as Glamorgan were skittled for 146.
Somerset vs Northamptonshire – Somerset won by 105 runs
Somerset piled up 223-4, led by Will Smeed (48), Thomas Rew (57) and Daniel Sams (48). Ricardo Vasconcelos top-scored for Northants with 40 off 23 balls before Lewis Goldsworthy removed him, and the innings collapsed to 118 all out.
Hampshire vs Kent – Hampshire won by 19 runs
Tristan Stubbs struck 41, with two fours and two sixes, in Hampshire’s 19-run win against Kent in Southampton.
Essex vs Middlesex – Middlesex won by four wickets
Proteas spinner and Essex captain Simon Harmer again delivered with bat and ball, smashing 56* off 28 balls before taking 2-15. Leus du Plooy led Middlesex’s chase with an unbeaten 38 as the visitors reached 143-6 in the final over.
