At the 2007 World Cup, South Africa beat Sri Lanka by 1 wicket in the super eight stage, but not before Lasith Malinga gave them a big scare by taking four wickets in four balls to almost single handedly win it for his team.

AB de Villiers and his men will hope they can avoid a similar ordeal when the teams meet in Wednesday’s quarter-final in Sydney.
