• Steyn: I’m a big fan of Magala

    Legendary Proteas fast bowler Dale Steyn has applauded the call-up for Sisanda Magala, who was named in the T20I squad to take on Pakistan.

    Steyn praised the 30-year-old and believes he should even be on the radar of the IPL teams in an injury replacement is required.

    Magala has been impressive all season, playing a star role in the Lions’ triumph at the CSA T20 Challenge in Durban.

    The Proteas will face Pakistan in four T20I matches, starting at the Wanderers on 10 April.
