Sri Lanka once again batted out the final day’s play to seal a draw in the second Test match against the West Indies in Antigua on Friday.
Chasing 377 for victory, Sri Lanka openers Lahiru Thirimanne and Dimuth Karunaratne resumed the visitors’ score on 29-0.
The pair batted well for a century stand before Lahiru Thirimanne fell for 39. Karunaratne brought a patient half-century, but he was next to go when he was trapped in front by Kyle Mayers for 75.
Oshada Fernando and Dinesh Chandimal, though, batted out the remainder of the afternoon and finished the final session without any damage and with Sri Lanka on 193-2.
As a result, the two-match Test series also ended a draw.
