• Al Hasan continues record spree

Shakib Al Hasan continues to shine individually with both bat and ball as he set a new World Cup record and must now be considered one of the great all-rounders to have played the game.

Shakib passed 500 runs against India on Tuesday to become the first player in the history of the competition to score over 500 and 10-plus wickets.

During the 2019 edition, he also became the 19th man to reach 1,000 runs in the event to further highlight his class and longevity.
