Saffas Abroad: Ingram century thwarts Yorkshire

Colin Ingram's 20th first-class century was the standout performance from South Africans playing in the latest round of England's County Championship.

Daryn Dupavillon bagged figures of 3-89 for Derbyshire in their innings-and-124-run loss to Sussex.

Leus du Plooy was back among the runs for Middlesex in a draw with Leicestershire, scoring 131 off 191 balls (17 fours, one six).

Glamorgan’s Colin Ingram was part of a match-saving party that denied Yorkshire a first win of the season.

Ingram scored a first-innings 48 off 85 balls (seven fours, one six), before following up with his 20th first-class century, scoring 113 off 223 balls (20 fours).

County Championship Division One

Captain Keaton Jennings scored 40 off 61 balls (six fours) for Lancashire in a seven-wicket loss to Kent.

Migael Pretorius produced a stunning spell for Somerset in their three-wicket win over Essex, claiming figures of 4-36.
