Ryan Rickelton struck 89 off 52 balls for the Seattle Orcas against the Los Angeles Knight Riders in Major League Cricket on Wednesday.

The Proteas batsman – who scored 103* off 66 balls against the same opponents earlier in the tournament – hit seven fours and six sixes, but didn’t get much support as Seattle posted 142-6.

Quinton de Kock was run out for a duck, while Heinrich Klaassen scored a run-a-ball 23.

LA won by four wickets with five balls remaining despite David Miller being dismissed for two.
