It wasn’t pretty, but it certainly was effective. Du Plessis had just struck Jasprit Bumrah for a six, and he wanted more of the action. A nasty short ball from Bumrah forced Du Plessis into a rushed pull shot that sent him to the floor. Little did he realise that the ball connected all the way for six at third man.
