• Play of the Day

The Challengers needed a good start, and Lokesh Rahul gave them a turbocharged injection in the fourth over to earn the Play of the Day.

With both teams needing a win to even remotely stay in the hunt, the Challengers were sent in to bat and were 24 without loss at the end of three overs.

Then Aussie medium-pacer Marcus Stoinis was handed the ball, the fourth bowler in four overs. Rahul hurt him, smacking three fours and six in an over that cost 20 runs. What made it worse for the Australian was that he had dropped a sitter off Virat Kohli, who was 11 at the time and the score on 23, off the last ball of the previous over. Rahul took the score  from 24-0 off three to 43-0 off four. It provided a valuable cushion for the difficulties ahead as the Challengers battled their way to a one-run win.
