Chris Morris scored the fastest fifty of this season’s IPL, taking just 17 deliveries to achieve the feat.
Morris came to the wicket with the Delhi Daredevils struggling at 58-4 after 11 overs chasing 173 for victory. He took the attack to the bowlers and smashed sevens sixes and just one four on his way to the joint-third fastest IPL half century.
Morris ended the match 82 not-out from 32 balls, but it wasn’t enough as the Delhi Daredevils lost by just one run to the Gujarat Lions.
