Miller, Stubbs test RCB without Ngidi

With Ngidi sidelined by a head injury, Delhi turn to Miller and Stubbs to challenge an RCB side pushing towards the top.

Delhi arrive under pressure after losing four of their last five matches, despite KL Rahul’s run of scores, including a 152 not out in their previous outing. Their issue has been converting strong batting platforms into results, while the bowling unit has lacked consistency.

Ngidi’s absence is a setback. He has been Delhi’s most reliable seamer this season, and his injury leaves a gap in bowling depth.

RCB, meanwhile, sit second on the table and have built momentum through a settled top order led by Virat Kohli. Their batting depth has allowed them to chase and set competitive totals consistently.

Conditions in Delhi favour high scoring, with recent matches pushing towards 200. That places focus on finishing roles.

For Delhi, Miller and Stubbs must deliver. Their ability to support Rahul and close out innings could decide whether the Capitals stay in the playoff race.
