Mitchell Marsh knocking over Faf du Plessis and Theunis de Bruyn in quick succession is our Play of the Day.
South Africa were looking to increase the run rate following the loss of Hashim Amla and Dean Elgar, who reached a partnership of just 43 runs in the second session.
Marsh was introduced to the Australian attack, and struck a double blow when he removed Du Plessis for nine, and De Bruyn for one to even things out as the end of the day approached.
South Africa eventually finished the day with their noses slightly in front, but Australia will feel confident of getting them out in the first session on the third day.
