Luck of the Irish

Irish batsman Ed Joyce may well be the luckiest man in cricket after a scarcely believable delivery in Brisbane against the UAE on Wednesday.

Facing Amjad Javed in the 11th over of the Irish run chase, Joyce drove hard at the ball but missed as it swung late. It clipped the outside of the off-stump, setting off the red LEDs. But the bails remained in place, the wicket was intact and Joyce was not out.
