Openers Dominic Hendricks and Joshua Richards both struck impressive centuries as the Lions chased down a target of 334 to beat the Knights at the Wanderers.

Resuming on 166-0 on Thursday, the men from Johannesburg kicked on with bat in hand to claim a four-wicket victory after the Knights looked to be in control for the majority of the match.

Hendricks made 119 and Richards 136 for a record opening-wicket partnership to hand the Lions their first win of the campaign.

Despite centuries in both innings by Aiden Markram, the Titans got unstuck against the Warriors, who beat the Pretoria outfit by three wickets in Centurion.

Chasing 218 for victory, Mohammed Vallie made another half-century, while Lesiba Ngoepe contributed 38 down the order to get over the line on Thursday afternoon.

In Durban the Cobras were set a target of 295 for victory against the Dolphins but Ashwell Prince’s charges batted through the final two sessions of the day to conclude the match on 155-6 as the spoils were shared between the two teams.
