    Keshav Maharaj could not be contained after sending Ben Stokes back to the pavilion as the Proteas moved towards victory in the first Test against England at Centurion.

    In his second over after lunch, the Proteas spinner broke through after a perfectly placed delivery which lured the English batsman into a false shot.

    Stokes departed for 14 with England on 204/4 and still requiring 172 runs to win.

    The Proteas won the match by 107 runs. Wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock was named Player of the Match. The scond Test will start at Newlands in Cape Town next week. St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth and the Wanderers in Johannesburg will host the third and fourth, respectively.
