• Third franchise in three years for Bokako

The Lions have welcomed fast bowler Tladi Bokako, who hails from Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.

Bokako has been somewhat of a journey man in the Provincial circuit after having represented Eastern Province, Western Province, South Western Districts and Boland senior Provincial sides.

The 26-year old is no stranger to franchise cricket having represented the Warriors as well as the Cape Cobras.

The fast bowler turned out for the Durban Heat in the 2018 Mzansi Super League tournament edition.

‘I am grateful and super proud to play alongside some of the experienced Lions players. The franchise has longstanding history and look forward to contributing towards this history. On a personal note, this will help with my growth as an individual and improve my game’ Bokako.

The Titans, meanwhile, have named their squad for the 2020-21 season, with some interesting additions from across the country, including Thando Ntini and middle-order batsman Sibonelo Makhanya.

With the departure of the long-serving Farhaan Behardien, Alfred Mothoa to the Knights as well as Tony de Zorzi moving on to the Cobras, the Sky Blues wanted an injection of youth and enthusiasm.

They have acquired the signature of the lively pace bowler Ntini, middle-order batsman Sibonelo Makhanya and Okuhle Cele, who will add pace to the attack.
