This was only the fourth time in ODI history that a team has lost its opening three wickets without a run on the board.
The Aussies lost openers Matthew Short and Cooper Connolly and No 4 batter Matt Renshaw all inside the opening two overs.
Taskin Ahmed struck in the very first over, clean bowling Short. In the first ODI, Ahmed clean bowled Short first ball of the match. This time round, it took him slightly longer – four deliveries.
In the next over, Mustafizur Rahman removed Connolly – also first ball – and then Renshaw off the final delivery of the over.

In ODI cricket history, Australia became only the fourth team to lose their first three wickets without scoring any runs.
Before this, the most recent instance had been during the 2003 World Cup in South Africa, when Sri Lankan left-arm seamer Chaminda Vaas dismissed the first three Bangladeshi batters in successive deliveries. The historic hat-trick in the very first over of an ODI took place at the Pietermaritzburg Oval.
Bangladesh are looking for their second consecutive victory over the touring Australians after winning the opening rain-affected ODI in Dhaka by 86 runs on Tuesday.
