West Indies held a 155-run lead over Pakistan at the close of the third day in Tarouba, finishing their second innings on 126 for seven after a day in which 14 wickets fell.
Justin Greaves was the architect of Pakistan’s downfall, taking career-best figures of 5-27 to spark a collapse from a commanding 244 for three to 282 all out shortly after lunch.
Greaves removed captain Shan Masood, who fell for 109 after a five-hour innings of 184 balls and 12 fours, before scything through the middle and lower order. Pakistan’s last-wicket pair required the second new ball before Kemar Roach ended the innings, dismissing Khurram Shahzad.

The collapse handed West Indies a 29-run first-innings lead, having been bowled out for 311. But Pakistan hit back tigerishly with the ball on an increasingly two-paced pitch, with Mohammad Abbas leading the attack and eventually accounting for Greaves himself, caught superbly at cover by Babar Azam for 20.
Pakistan bowling coach Umar Gul praised his side’s improved execution after a difficult start. “For the second day and the second innings our bowlers hit the right areas and bowled a bit fuller,” he said, highlighting Abbas’ experience and influence on the younger bowlers.
Kemar Roach dug in late on, while Shamar Joseph struck three sixes in an unbeaten 22, runs that could prove vital heading into what promises to be a decisive fourth day.
