The hosts were cruising to victory at 165-2 in the 42nd over when Waqar demolished the stumps of Andrew Hudson (93).

South Africa would lose their last eight wickets for 33 runs to suffer a 10-run defeat.

Waqar finished with figures of 5-25 in 10 overs.
