England A claimed a seven-wicket victory over the Proteas Women in Thursday's 50-over match in Leicester.
Lauren Winfield-Hill scored 95* off 66 balls and Bryony Smith 66* off 58 as the hosts chased down the Proteas’ total of 264-7 with 6.3 overs to spare.
Laura Wolvaardt made 72 off 89 balls and Marizanne Kapp a run-a-ball 51 for the visitors.
The first ODI between England and the Proteas will take place at the County Ground in Northampton on Monday.
