AB de Villiers is a hero in Bengaluru and a mainstay in the Royal Challengers Bangalore lineup, and it’s clear to see why, as he kicked off his IPL 2016 campaign with a bang, smashing 82 off 42 balls in his side’s emphatic victory. In the process, he brought up 1000 IPL runs at the stadium alone – a phenomenal, yet hardly surprising, stat.
