The IPL play of the day goes to Robin Uthappa, for becoming the sixth batsman to pass 3 000 IPL runs.
Uthappa scored 35 in the Kolkata Knight Riders’ emphatic nine-wicket victory over the Delhi daredevils, and when he got to four runs on the evening, he passed the illustrious milestone from his 116th innings, joining Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Chris Gayle, Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli.
