• WATCH: AB, Wiese rock the Sultans

AB de Villiers’ Lahore Qalandars chased down a respectable 200-6 by the Multan Sultans, with David Wiese hitting a six off the last ball to sneak the Qalanders home in their Pakistan Super League match at Sharjah.

‘It got a bit closer than I hoped for at the end,’ said De Villiers after the match. ‘I was fortunate being able to take my time at the beginning of my innings. David Wiese takes a lot of the pressure off me, being a boundary hitter. I get very nervous. To the youngsters out there, my message is that it’s ok to feel nervous in a situation like this, just take it one over at a time.’

    De Villiers ended 52 not out off 29 balls (3×4, 3×6, S/R 179.31) alongside David Wiese, who pummelled an undefeated 45 off 20 balls (S/R 225.00, 0x4, 5×6).
