The EP Warriors clinched the T20 Challenge title in dramatic fashion, beating Boland in a Super Over after the final in Paarl ended in a tie.
Batting first on Sunday, Boland posted 142-6 in their 20 overs. Lehan Botha anchored the innings with a composed 51 off 45 balls (five fours, one six), while Ferisco Adams added a useful 32 off 24.
But regular strikes from the Warriors attack – led by Senuran Muthusamy’s 3-24 – kept the hosts in check.
Boland also lost early wickets, with Clyde Fortuin (11) and Grant Roelofsen (28) both falling inside the powerplay.
In reply, the Warriors were driven by a superb 74 off 53 balls from Jordan Hermann, who struck two sixes and held the chase together.
Tristan Stubbs contributed a valuable 37 before being run out during a tense finish, while Patrick Kruger and Matthew de Villiers fell cheaply.
With the scores level at 142 after 20 overs, the final went to a Super Over.
Hermann and Stubbs guided the Warriors to 12 runs, before their bowlers held Boland to nine, sealing the title in a thrilling finish.
