Van der Dussen returns as Proteas bat first in 3rd T20I

Rassie van der Dussen has recovered from injury as the Proteas bat first in the all-important third T20I against Pakistan in Centurion on Wednesday.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and elected to field first, with the two teams locked at 1-1 in the series.

Van der Dussen missed the opening two encounters with a quad problem, which also ruled him out of last week’s final ODI at SuperSport Park.

He comes in at No 3 for Wihan Lubbe, who featured in the previous two T20Is in Johannesburg. Pakistan won the opening encounter over the past weekend, before the Proteas responded with a clinical performance on Monday.
