Updated SA20 squads have been confirmed as the competition reaches halfway mark.
DURBAN’S SUPER GIANTS have replaced Proteas’ T20 World Cup bound Tony de Zorzi with Liam Livingstone. The England all-rounder previously played for MI Cape Town and the Pretoria Capitals. De Zorzi has been released to focus on his rehabilitation. West Indies mystery spinner Sunil Narine has also arrived at Kingsmead as opener Devon Conway heads back to New Zealand for international duty. Gysbert Wege has been ruled out due to illness and has left the DSG camp to undergo rehabilitation. He has not been replaced.
The JOBURG SUPER KINGS have recalled seamer Duan Jansen after top-order batsman Rilee Rossouw was ruled out due to injury. Jansen was impressive in his first stint with JSK, claiming a career-best 4-23 in the victory over the Pretoria Capitals at Centurion. The JSK batting has also been boosted with the arrival of James Vince. The former England international is an experienced campaigner with close to 13,000 T20 runs.

The PRETORIA CAPITALS have already handed a debut to West Indies T20 legend Andre Russell, who announced his arrival in South Africa by clubbing a boundary straight down the ground off the first ball he faced in SA20. Russell replaced seamer Keith Dudgeon. England international Jordan Cox will also slot in the Capitals’ squad at the expense of Daniel Smith. Cox was part of the Sunrisers Eastern Cape’s inaugural title-winning squad in 2023.
