• Saffas Abroad: Gous, Pretorius deliver in CPL

    Dwaine Pretorius and Andries Gous were the standout South African performers abroad over the past week.

    Rassie van der Dussen scored 45 off 37 deliveries (one four, two sixes) in the Barbados Royals’ four-wicket loss to the Guyana Amazon Warriors. Eathan Bosch took 3-35 for the Royals.

    Former Proteas all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius struck 53 off 34 balls (two fours, four sixes) for the Warriors.

    Welkom-born USA international Andries Gous hit 85 off 53 balls (five fours, four sixes) in the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons’ four-wicket win against the Barbados Royals.

    Proteas spinner Tabraiz Shamsi took 3-26 in the St Lucia Kings’ 27-run defeat to the Barbados Royals.
