Pakistan Women claimed a six-wicket victory in the third ODI against the Proteas Women in Lahore on Monday.
South Africa won the series 2-1.
The Proteas Women were bundled out for 115 after left-arm spinner Nashra Sandhu took 6-26 in nine overs, before Sidra Amin struck an unbeaten 50 off 94 balls (eight fours) to guide the hosts home inside 31 overs.
South Africa, who won the toss and batted, made a solid start as Laura Wolvaardt (28) and Karabo Meso (12) put on 38 for the first wicket. But once Diana Baig (1-21) removed Wolvaardt, Sandhu tore through the innings.
She removed Suné Luus (10), Miané Smit (nine) and Anneke Bosch (10), before adding the scalps of Sinalo Jafta (four), Chloé Tryon (three) and Nadine de Klerk (13).
With the Proteas reeling on 94-8, Masabata Klaas (13*) helped them limp past three figures before Syeda Aroob Shah (2-16) wrapped up the tail.
Chasing 116, Pakistan lost Omaima Sohail (nought) early to Nonkululeko Mlaba (2-46), but Amin and Muneeba Ali (44) rebuilt with a 65-run partnership.
De Klerk briefly pegged the hosts back, removing Ali and Fatima Sana (nought) in the space of three balls, but Amin and Natalia Pervaiz (14) steadied the chase.
Mlaba struck again to dismiss Pervaiz, yet Amin’s composed half-century carried Pakistan over the line with 19 overs to spare.
The Proteas Women now turn their attention to the Women’s ODI World Cup in Sri Lanka, where they will play warm-up matches against Bangladesh and Pakistan in preparation for the 2025 tournament.
