Lhuan-dre Pretorius has been called up by the Rajasthan Royals as an injury replacement.
The 19-year-old comes in for Nitish Rana, who suffered a calf injury.
Pretorius was the top run-scorer in this year’s SA20, with 397 for the Paarl Royals in 12 matches at an average of 33.08 and a strike rate of 166.80.
He carried that form into the domestic season, scoring two centuries for the Northerns Titans in the One-Day Cup and three centuries and a fifty in the 4-Day Series.
That saw him called up to the South Africa A squad for their tour of the West Indies from 21 May to 11 June.
