• CSA confirms new squads for Division 1

Cricket South Africa has announced the full squads from all eight provincial teams that will be competing in the new Division 1 next season.

The country’s domestic system will mark a new era when the 2021-22 season gets under way at the end of this year, when eight teams will compete in the top-tier Division 1 while the remaining seven unions will partake in Division 2.

The respective divisions and its leagues were finalised last month by an independent evaluation committee (IEC) with Boland, Central Gauteng Lions, Eastern Province, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal (Coastal), North West, Northerns and Western Province announced in the first Division.
